according to Billboard. The publication's country chart, dated July 7, shows that the trio's second album, released on Jan. 26 on Capitol Nashville, has sold 2,355,020 copies. The album includes "Need You Now," "American Honey," "Stars Tonight" and "Our Kind of Love."
Overall, country albums sold 18.7 million units in the first half of 2010, down 9.1 percent from the 20.6 million copies sold in the first half of 2009.
The publication also noted that overall CD album sales were down 17.9 percent to 110.3 million units while digital album sales were up 12.7 percent to 42.2 million units, both compared to the first half of 2009
