J'm'en rappelle en 2011 quand j'ai appris au mois de mars qu'il ouvrait le CMA Fest sur la scène du Riverfront : j'étais fou !
dire que j'étais aux premières places, comme un gosse ! j'suis dingue!?
d'ailleurs quand je réécoute toute sa discographie : un sans faute !! et il y'a peu d'artiste comme lui !

C'est marrant car j'ai mis toute sa discographie sur mon smartphone , comme ça je suis sur de pouvoir l'écouter quand je veux et surtout ou je veux , et c'est là que je me suis fait la même réflexion que la tienne : que sa discographie est vraiment un sans faute , de plus je me penche de plus en plus sur les textes de ces songs du 1er album jusqu'a au dernier (Set You Free) et là t'apprécie toute l'étendue de la richesse de son catalogue et de son talent mais bon sang comment il fait ce gars là pour avoir un tel génie dans les lyrics et dans les compos aussi pour pouvoir nous pondre a chaque album des trucs de dingues quoi.

Gary Allan has been working on his new album, the follow-up to his 2013 outing, Set You Free. On the project, he worked with producers working with producers Mark Wright (Brooks & Dunn, Lee Ann Womack), Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town, Cage the Elephant) and co-produced seven tracks with Greg Droman (Get Off On The Pain). This time, he says it will be a little different.

Last time, I let Jay [Joyce] pick what he wanted, and then I let Mark [Wright] pick what he wanted, then I took the [leftovers],” says the California native. “I think I’ll probably cut what I want this time. Unless I can hear what the song needs – like guys that I work with like Mark, he’s great at strings and making things big, so if I need that, I feel like I’ll go to him. If I feel like something needs more funk than I can give it, then I’ll go to Jay. But I think I’d have to feel like I need one of them.”
