Gwyneth Paltrow Releases New Single, "Country Strong," on RCA Nashville

Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is releasing a single, "Country Strong," to country radio. The song shares its name with an upcoming movie, which stars Paltrow as Kelly Canter, a faded country star looking for a comeback. The film is scheduled to open nationally on Dec. 22.

The impact date for the single at country radio will be Aug. 23. Vince Gill and Patty Griffin provide background vocals on the single, which was written by Jennifer Hanson, Tony Martin and Mark Nesler. The soundtrack will be released on RCA Nashville on Oct. 26.

Filmed in and around Nashville last year, the project had formerly been titled Love Don't Let Me Down. Tim McGraw plays Ed, her husband and manager. Garrett Hedlund plays Beau Williams, a rising country songwriter, while Leighton Meester portrays a former beauty queen with musical ambition. The movie was written and directed by Shana Feste.

Ca m'a l'air sympa comme film, j'aime bien le single "Country Strong", avec les back-vocals de Vince Gill, magnifique !

J'ai vu récemment le film Crazy Heart , il est vraiment génial comme film. C'est agréable d'entendre de la country dans un film et de mettre en scène des chanteurs country !!

Et puis que dire de la chanson "The Weary Kind"... juste sublime !!!!

J'attend avec grande impatience ce film j'ai vu la bande annonce , une trés belle histoire et en plus Tim tiensun role principale dans ce film !! sorti prévu pour le 22 Déc

Très très bon film (en français) de la vie de Loretta Lynn; ça démarre dans la Appalaches-mountains, ça fint à Nashville...du grand art et surtout bcp de country-music ! (Tommy lee jones et fabuleux !)

à moins de 4 euros chez Amazon !

Hier matin dans un téléfilm sur TMC ( non pas CMT ) il y avait Travis Tritt ! lol Excellent !

Je crois que c'est CMT cette chaine et non pas TMC; la derniére fois avec Bruno c'etait Travis Tritt

Sinon c'est pour bientôt le movie "Country Strong" ; prévu pour le 22 Décembre vraiment impatient en tous cas pour voir ce film ; d'après les images qu'on peux voir sur le clip de Gwyneth Paltrow , ça a l'air d'être lourd puisqu'il tient un rôle principale

C'est vrai que dans les maçons du coeur,il y a souvent des artistes country dans cette émission.J'avais vu Brad une fois.

Le titre original de l'émission c'est "Extreme Makeover : Home Edition", et comme l'a dit Slide il y'a de temps en temps des artistes country qui y participent (j'avais vu Blake également, j'avais vu aussi Trace Adkins une fois !)

Moi aussi j'aime bien !!! Ils font des maisons géniales, ils ont pleins d'idées !! Moi par contre je suis jamais tombée sur une émission avec des artistes country...sniff, lol !!!!!!
