AccueilJust announced through Hank Williams III’s website, the grandson of Hank Williams and the son of Hank Jr.’s next album will be called Brothers of the 4X4. The album will contain 16 tracks, and be released on Hank3′s own record label distributed by Megaforce Records. The release will also be accompanied by a “hellbilly/punk” album called A Fiendish Threat that will include 13 tracks. No word on a release date or supporting tour dates as of yet, but the master tapes for both albums have been turned into the distribution company.

Ronnie Dunn Appearing on Upcoming Sammy Hagar Album
Sammy Hagar will release a new album on September 24 that will include plenty of star power. The former Van Halen frontman is releasing his first-ever collaborations album, ‘Sammy Hagar and Friends,’ and has called on one of country music’s most recognized voices to contribute to the upcoming project.
Ronnie Dunn joins forces with Hagar for the original tune ‘Bad on Fords and Chevrolets.’ Dunn joins a long list of artists who collaborated with the the Red Rocker for the CD, including Kid Rock, Nancy Wilson from Heart, Journey guitarist Neal Schon and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
The new project will include a mixture of previously unreleased songs and epic covers, including Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus,’ as well as Bob Seger’s ‘Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man.’

Like Darius Rucker and Aaron Lewis before him, Alternative rock star vocalist and frontman of 3 Doors Down Brad Arnold plans to release his first ever solo album as a Country music album, sometime in 2014.
The singer of hits like "Be Like That," "Kryptonite," and "Here Without You" was raised on country music, telling Billboard Magazine, "I know it sounds crazy, but I grew up in Mississippi loving Country music.
"It's always been something I've wanted to, 'cause that's what I grew up on, about as much on Country as on Rock 'n' Roll. Everybody (in the band) is Cool with me doing it, so I want to just go back and have fun with it for a minute and see what happens and then come back and make another 3 Doors Down record."
The singer/songwriter has been writing with frequent collaborators Marti Frederiksen and Zac Mally as well as other Country hit making songwriters and producers, "I've got like two or three (songs) that are for sure now," he says.
He states that he wants to make a timeless record, "…something you can listen to in 20 years and still enjoy." The front man also admits that "…some of our 3 Doors Down stuff isn't a real far shot from Country…Country and Rock are about as close as they've ever been. So I just have to write and see what we come up with."
Admittedly nervous about how the Country audience will greet him, he says, "…my view on it is it all starts with a song; if you have a song to go over there with and it's an undeniably good song, it'll work…You just get in front of the people…your honest and try your best…I think it'll work."

Comme pour Dallas Smith, le chanteur de Default, ça sera à surveiller car les influences country/southern rock sont réellement présentes dans la musique de 3 Doors Down !
